Smoky, you smarty....

Finally some genuine Sci-fi leaks in...

There is a certain Star Trek feeling to this moment.

Totally called this. When Ben first starting talking Caesar, I could see him analyzing him as a potential threat, and I just knew. He's dead. Totally awesome shot though, I mean it was almost Pilot good.

Not to toot my own horn but........Well. I have a gift.

So now we know:
  • Kate is here to find Claire (or so she says)
  • Jack is here to find his purpose (sounds a little destiny-crazed Locke)
  • John is here to enjoy his leadershipness
  • Hurley...my guess is Charlie, and to help George Lucas
  • Sun is here for Jin (or possibly Lapidus? haha)
  • Juliet and Sawyer staying for good? We shall see..... I wonder if given the chance to return to their proper place in time, they would go their separate ways...

Cellular Exasperation.

Have you ever felt torn in all directions, everyone telling you what you want and how wonderful it will be together?

Well, yes. I have, it was with three companies. Verizon. Sprint. and T Mobile.

I originally started with Unicel, but they've decided to mesh with Verizon. I didn't care too much at first because as long as I kept my phone, any plan was sufficient.
This simple wish proved to be not so.

Here is my phone, i love it. It is easy to use, and big screen, has all my ringtones and photos. it is the best. BUT it has a sim card.

My brother gave it to me when my Razor punked out, and I've loved it ever since, and thanks to those lovely sim cards, I was able to use a Tmobile phone with Unicel.

Unfortunately, every company has gotten the idea that sim cards are a thing of the past. Or they are just tired of people not buying their phones. Either way, they were forcing me to get a different phone. So, Verizon. I refuse you.

A few days later, my dad decides to switch us all over to Sprint, unbeknownst to us. Just as before, my one condition was keeping my phone, and they were just as bad. So I started shopping through their selection...

this one was cute, but too small.

This one was what I was used to, but pretty spendy.

And on top of everything, the bluetooth application doesn't work for sharing files like ringtones and such. That was it. I was done. So after 5 days with Sprint, we parted bitterly.

So I decided the only way to keep my beloved Tmobile dash was to go with Tmobile. I now pay month to month, no overage charges, and I pay exactly for what I'm using. AND they use sim cards and have no plans in changing that.

Cellphones are such a pain.

Roadside Photography

I know this isn't the safest of hobbies, especially since I don't take the time to pull over each time I want a photo. It's quite simple really, one hand on the wheel, the other pointed in the general direction of the subject out the window, and hopefully no cars are near (for safety and photo purposes.)
This past weekend I embarked on a mini-roadtrip to see some friends over the mountain. Little did I know, I would experience many different exciting events and encounter excellent photo opportunities under extremely dangerous conditions...

This one wasn't bad. It was calm, no traffic, I was just heading out of town.

Here is another easy peasy one, you could keep both hands on the wheel for this one.
I felt weird taking this photo since I happened to follow this car over a hundred miles...awkward.

Here's where it gets tricky. It stinks when there's something really cool to shoot, but the best angle is on a curve, and you're going....well at an increasing speed..hence the canted angle.

Self photography isn't too good either. It shows all of your unpleasant features. I don't think anyone looks good when their driving. But I liked the trees reflected in my sunglasses.

Finally, I made it to my destination, no more trees and snow, finally something green and civilized!
-I know the cracked windshield is just awesome.

I was glad to be done driving.

Oh, and one more thing. While I was there, I had one last amazing experience. I tried on a Snuggie. I'd post the photo, but it's too heinous to advertise. Just imagine me as Gandalf, only blue and pink. That's all you need to know.
