Fact:
Cats pant.
Did you know this? I didn't, but Cookie gave me an excellent example of it this summer.
It's not just to be cool, they usually do it when they're stressed and freaking out.
In Cookie's case, she was stressed for many reasons that day:
- she's on a leash. seriously, that's just mean.
- We brought her to the park, so she's in a new environment
- Lots of people around she didn't know
- and these crazy looking dogs were staring at her.....
